What to do at the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 2025

Guess what? It’s Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials week! We are delighted to be sponsoring the GFS Saddles 8 & 9 year old class at the event for the very first time. Over the course of the week, the heritage palace grounds will come alive with world-class eventing, family-friendly fun and an atmosphere that’s hard to beat.
We’ve put together a few recommendations of things to do if you’re looking to maximise your visit to the horse trials.
Experience the competition up close
It’s impossible not to be swept up in the excitement. With dressage, cross country and showjumping to watch in both the GFS Saddles 8 & 9 year old class and the Agria FEI Eventing European Championship, you won’t want to miss the action!
Familiarise yourself with the timetable for the GFS Saddles 8 & 9 year old class in advance:
Thursday and Friday: Dressage in the Churchill Arena
Saturday: Showjumping in the Churchill Arena
Sunday: Cross Country
These young horses are the rising stars of the sport, and the energy, talent and dedication sure to be on display will be simply inspiring.
Catch us on the Chat Stage
One of the moments we are most looking forward to is our session on the Chat Stage. Taking place at 13:00 on Saturday, we’ll be hosting a slot called ‘Tack Talk with GFS Saddles’. It’s the perfect place to pause, grab some lunch and ask any questions you may have.
Shop till you drop!
No visit to the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is complete without a stroll around the shopping village. Over 200 trade stands offer everything from equestrian gear to artisan crafts, stylish clothing and delicious local treats. And, of course, there’s plenty of inspiration for gifts or something special for yourself!
Delicious dining
For us, a proper day at Blenheim won’t be complete without sampling the food. From gourmet street food to traditional classics, there’s something to satisfy every craving. We recommend treating yourself to a Fortnum & Mason picnic hamper or enjoying the ringside view from VIP!
Fun for all the family
We love that Blenheim is so family friendly. Kids can enjoy rides in the Mini Rovers and generally run off some of that endless energy, while parents can relax and watch the competition unfold. Entry is free for under-12s, which makes it an easy day out for the whole family.
Why we love Blenheim
This year, for the team at GFS Saddles, the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will be more than just an event - it’s a celebration of everything we love about horses and riding. From world-class competition to family-friendly fun, shopping and more, it’s a chance to connect with the equestrian community and enjoy a truly memorable day out.
Seeing young horses rise through the ranks in the GFS Saddles 8 & 9 year old class, sharing stories on the Chat Stage and simply enjoying the magic of Blenheim Palace is what we are so excited to be a part of.
